1. What we collect
This website collects only what’s needed to run a small museum site: the email address you give us if you sign up for our newsletter, and the name, email, subject, and message you enter if you use the contact form. We also collect basic, anonymous site-usage information (such as which pages are visited) so we can understand what’s useful to visitors — this isn’t tied to your name or any other personal information.
2. Newsletter & contact form
If you sign up for our newsletter, we use your email address only to send you updates about the museum, and never sell or share it with third parties. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any newsletter email. If you use the contact form, your message is sent to the museum so we can respond, and we keep it only as long as needed to do that.
3. QR code scan analytics
Physical QR codes placed next to exhibits in the gallery link to videos about that exhibit. Scanning a code may generate an anonymous scan count so we can see which exhibits visitors are most interested in. No personal information is collected when a code is scanned, and scans aren’t linked to any individual visitor.
4. Google Maps embed & sharing buttons
Our Contact page includes an embedded Google Map to help you find the museum. When you interact with it, Google’s own privacy policy applies to that interaction, not ours. Our site also links out to our Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube profiles; once you click through, that platform’s own privacy policy applies rather than ours.
